Stag Walkers is a friendly and sociable walking group aimed at people in their 20s-30s (and a bit beyond) which offers a variety of walks and social events in Herts/Beds/Cambs.
The monthly Standon Embroidery Group is seeking new members as it has several vacancies. The group meets on the second Tuesday of the month in Standon Village Hall, 2-4pm under the expert tutor Julie Walsby. £7 per person per month which includes the cost of hiring the hall. Pop along and learn the art of hand embroidery.

It's a very social club of mixed abilities and goals, focused on encouragement, support and wellbeing. Based in Steeple Morden but open to anyone in the local area and villages.

Story Meadow provides immersive storytelling sessions in beautiful natural settings. Children are encouraged to share their ideas throughout the wonderful stories. The sessions break off for small world play, short challenges, and arts and crafts then come back together at the end of the session to hear the end of the story with the children's contributions and arts and crafts to bring it to life!

Designed for individuals wanting to improve their strength and balance whilst learning new exercises to maintain independence. Suitable for those who haven't exercised before or experienced a decline in their physical ability. Exercise ar your own pace in a positive environment and meet others in your community who are at a similar ability level.

In aid of St Mary’s restoration fund meeting every Sunday 2:30-5pm until the end of October then Ashwell Museum take on exactly the same slot until mid-April. Sunday afternoon teas are held all year round in The Parish Room Swan Str, Ashwell, with two groups keeping it going in order to raise funds for their separate organisations.

A Carer Support Advisor will be joining us to talk about the different respite options available to carers. They will also be able to offer 1-1 support for any questions you may have concerning your caring role.

Therfield Heath is an area of Common Land and most of it is a Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is owned by the Therfield Regulation Trust, which is a registered charity.
It is managed by the Conservators of Therfield Heath and Greens.
Around Therfield there are registered Village Greens and other areas of Common Land which are held and manged in the same way.
