Offering Ballet, Tap and Modern classes for children from ages 3 upwards. Exams are offered in Ballet, Tap & Modern/Jazz. Recreational classes in Commercial Dance. The School performs a Show every two years. Adult classes in Ballet & Tap for fun and fitness. Classes are held in Buntingford and surrounding villages.

A safe and friendly Youth football club for children from Bassingbourn and surrounding villages.
We run a very successful Saturday soccer development for 4-6 year olds and are a thriving and friendly club running league teams from under 7’s through to U18’s.

Bassingbourn Community Library consists of over 4000 books to lend including the latest popular fiction, large print fiction, books for Children of all ages and a local interest reference section.
Through the Cambridgeshire County Library we can order almost any book you may need free of charge and, as a member of the County Library there is access to the Library's online services.

We would like to create the opportunity for young children to have fun & mix with other children in a safe environment as well as offer a lifeline for parents & carers to get out of the house & meet other adults! Of course, expectant parents are also always welcome!
We meet every Friday morning 9:30-11:15am at Barrington Village hall! Please keep an eye out for our opening date & please do spread the word! We’d love to meet as many local (and not so local) babies, children, parents & carers as possible!
The Town House (which means Community or People's House) is one of the oldest buildings in the village and is the village hall.
The beautiful Town House plays host to a number of events throughout the year and can be hired for you to hold your own.
Barley Tennis Club has 2 hard courts, situated in one of the most beautiful settings in North Hertfordshire.
Our club welcomes players from the surrounding villages and beyond.
Our aim is to provide affordable tennis in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and to bring the best out in our players through club sessions and coaching.
Coaching is available for anyone, you don't have to be a member.
Club sessions are held twice a week: Thursday evenings in the spring/summer from 5pm and Sunday mornings from 10.30am.

Barkway Village Hall lies at the northern end of the village and is available to hire for everyone, with subsidised rates for local residents.
It’s a warm, active hall, used regularly by all ages including Parent & Toddler Group, Carpet Bowls, Pilates and Barkway Picture House.
The main Hall can accommodate up to 126 people, making it ideal for parties and weddings with parking for all.
A smaller Committee Room, which can be hired separately or alternatively, this room grants access to the garden which can accomodate a 9m by 7m marque, ideal for any celebration.
A stage with lighting, sound amplification can accommodate theatre or music productions and a projector with drop down screen are perfect for showing films and big TV events such as the Olympics.
Tables and chairs are provided and there is a sprung wooden floor which is especially suitable for keep fit and dancing.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, a fully licensed bar area and a music licence for the playing and performing of any music.

Our Baby and Toddler Group welcomes parents, carers and children to the village hall every Wednesday morning for play, tea and a chat. We particularly enjoy welcoming new mums and dads with babies who are looking to meet fellow new parents.
The group is run by a member of the preschool staff and takes place in term time from 9.15am - 11.15am . You'll find us at Barkway Village Hall and the session costs £3.50 for first child over 6 months and parent/carer - subsequent siblings: £1.50. Payment can be by cash or card.

Baby Boo-Bears is a multi- sensory themed class. For babies of all ages from newborn to four years.
We explore the world through our themed sessions. One day we are going to the beach, the next we are having our very own sports day, no two sessions are the same.
