As you can imagine, not much passes us by here at The Listing.
We all live in Royston and our office is now on John Street in the Town Centre, so we keep pretty close to what’s going on.
Whilst there are of course areas for improvement in Royston (as there is in every small town) there are plenty of gems around too… maybe we just need to remind ourselves every now and then?
One of these is the fruit and veg stall on the market owned by the Charter family. Â They pride themselves on choosing the best quality produce from the best suppliers at any point in the growing season… and really we cannot shout highly enough about the quality and value for money.
This month at home we’ve enjoyed sweet cherry tomatoes, juicy strawberries and flavoursome asparagus.
Convenience makes the supermarket the easy choice…. but quality and flavour is by far the better choice – you won’t be disappointed.
Royston Market, Wednesday and Saturdays, 8am-2pm
