Established in 1898, Royston Conservative Club is a welcoming private members’ club with a proud history.
Our historic building was once home to the Equerries of King James I and continues to provide a comfortable, friendly setting where members can relax, socialise and enjoy a varied programme of activities.
Our facilities include a spacious main bar, dining room, dedicated snooker room and an upstairs function/meeting room with its own bar. We also have three televisions showing a wide selection of sporting events and channels throughout the year.
Food is available on selected days, with regular lunches, traditional Sunday carveries, themed dining evenings and brunches. Behind the bar, members can enjoy well-kept real ales, a selection of wines and a wide variety of other drinks. We are proud to hold the highest Cask Marque award of five, alongside our five-star food hygiene rating.
There is always something happening at the club. Our entertainment includes a popular weekly quiz, monthly live music, raffles, cocktail evenings and special events such as our beer festival and charity coffee mornings. We are also home to a variety of regular groups and activities, including poker, darts, crib, U3A events, seated exercise class and book clubs.
Members are encouraged to introduce guests and are welcome to sign-in visitors up to three times per month, making the club a wonderful place to meet friends and family. Best of all, we are open 365 days a year!
