Out & About: Barkway Pantomime “Snow White and the Seven Goggle-Eyed Monsters”

Get ready for laughter, music and mayhem as the Barkway pantomime returns in early February with Snow White and the Seven Goggle-Eyed Monsters – the 33rd annual production by the Barkway Players.

This original new panto has been written by members of the group, giving a much-loved fairy tale a distinctly local and delightfully daft, sci-fi twist. Join kind-hearted Daffodil, her loyal cat Pickles, a collection of colourful, bug-eyed monsters, and a villain you’ll love to boo, in a show packed with catchy songs, comedy and plenty of audience participation.

Performed in Barkway Village Hall, the production raises vital funds for the Hall itself, a registered charity.

Whether you’re 5 or 95, a first-time visitor or a seasoned panto regular, expect big laughs, a warm village welcome, and family entertainment.

Don’t miss this much-loved annual tradition – tickets have been selling quickly so hurry, otherwise the opportunity will be … behind you!

Snow White and the Seven Goggle-Eyed Monsters will be performed at Barkway Village hall on 6th February (8pm) and twice on Saturday 7th February (2pm and 8pm).
