Royston Museum Highlights by Emma: Coming up in November!

Thanks to the support of the Friends of Royston Museum, we’re undertaking another ambitious project at the Museum – to redesign the Museum’s displays to bring more of the history and stories of Royston and the surrounding area to life!

The Museum will be closed from Monday 22nd December until February half term 2026. Please follow us on social media to stay up to date with the project.

But before we close, we have two months of brilliant events and activities for you to enjoy!

For November…
• We’ve teamed up with Crafted Connections for some fun crafting workshops at the Museum. There’s a different workshop each Thursday, 4–5pm. No experience is needed, you just need to bring yourself and your creative curiosity.
• Museum Tots is Wednesday 5th November, when we’ll be going on a winter adventure.
• Spark! Art Club for young creatives aged 11 to 14 is on Thursday 13th November.
• Discover Remarkable Women in Hertfordshire’s History in our talk on Wednesday 19th November
Then for December:
• Join Crafted Connections for some drop in festive crafting on Sunday 7th December
• Relax with a glass of something nice, a mince pie and an evening of printing at Christmas and Cava with Royston Printmakers on Friday 12th December
• We have a festive Printing Press Demo Day on Sunday 14th December
• We’re running two kids festive printing workshops on Sunday 21st December
Plus, we’ll be hosting a brilliant exhibition by Royston Town FC to celebrate their 150th Anniversary!
