Royston Community Garden
In partnership with Royston Environmental Group, is holding a Garden party on Saturday 15th July between 2-4pm.
We would like to invite people along to see how the garden is run and encourage new volunteers interested in gardening to join us. There will be a range of activities for children to participate in, cakes and soft drinks will also be provided with any donations going to our local Home-Start.
There are four raised beds, one with wildflowers to encourage wildlife into the garden, and three dedicated to growing vegetables and fruit. We also have a greenhouse, bug hotel, composter and potting shed.
The garden is also open on the 2nd Saturday of every month where volunteers get together for planting, sowing and weeding.
This is a great opportunity for anybody interested in getting involved in a community garden.
