Royston and District Parkinson’s Group is pleased to say that they are continuing to grow and thrive with our Thursday Club in its new venue from September 12th 10.30am til midday in the Town Hall in the centre of Royston.
Over 180 people live with Parkinson’s in our area and the message is Stay Active. This term our Thursday club will hold voice-work and singing sessions, research presentations and discussions, visits from the PCT Granta and taster Pilates sessions.
Cost £5 refreshments included. There is also an opportunity to meet at the Heath for a short walk and coffee occasionally.
The group also runs its own Parkinson’s Café at The Bull on the last Tuesday of the month, £3 to include coffee and biscuits and The Everyone Active Leisure Centre in Royston runs an exercise class at 12.30pm on Tuesdays which is free to those living with Parkinson’s including their carers.
