In the middle of February, volunteers at Repair Cafes across the country will be working their magic to keep broken items in use for longer.
On Sunday 16th February, Royston Repair Café will be celebrating its 6th birthday by joining The Big Fix 2020. Since February 2014, volunteer repairers in Royston have mended over 50% of the 640 items brought in for a free assessment. Everything from clothes and toys to computers, bikes and electrical equipment have been given a new lease of life to the delight of their owners – saving money and the planet.
