Royston Runners have confirmed the dates for their next Couch to 5k series.
Starting on 4th May and running for 10 weeks, the programme is free to attend and open to all fitness levels. Just turn up no need to pre-book. Meeting every Saturday 1-2pm at the Heath Sports Club, Royston SG8 5BG.
The sessions are open to all fitness/experience levels (children must be supervised) – run by Grant Chapman, a UKA English Athletics qualified coach and DBS cleared, along with friends and supportive volunteers from Royston Runners.
Following the last c25k programme, many runners have since become members of the club and run each week.
Madhuri joined our last C25k programme and said “The C25K was great fun and everyone was so supportive. Before joining I couldn’t run 5K on my own but since then I have joined the club and made loads of friends. I’m even running my first marathon within a year of joining!”
