As winter sets in, Royston Library has plenty of activities to keep everyone busy.
During the build up to Christmas we have a Christmas Paper Craft session for children on Tuesday 4th December, 4-5pm. Create decorations to take home with you. The drop-in session is free, but a donation would be appreciated.
On Thursday 4th December 7-9pm for adults we offer Festive Printing with Prosecco and Mince Pies. Tickets are £15. Pre-booking is essential www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/libraries
LEGO Club will have a Christmas theme on Saturday 13th December, 2pm. Spaces are £4.40 per child and bookable at the library.
For our littlest people there will be a Soft Toy Sleepover on Monday 15th December, 4.30pm. After tucking the teddys in and listening to some bedtime stories we’ll look after the toys overnight. When they’re collected we’ll reveal all the adventures they’ve been having! We won’t be charging to look after them, but a donation would be appreciated!
Our weekly Baby Rhyme Time and Storytime continue through December, including Christmas Eve, but will not take place on New Year’s Eve or Boxing Day. Seasonal outfits are encouraged! Timings can be found in the online What’s On.
If you haven’t signed up for the Winter Reads Challenge you’ve still got plenty of time! Adults and children can complete reading challenges for the chance to win an I-Pad or other book related prizes! Closing date is 31st January.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our current and future customers!
We look forward to welcoming you soon!
