Royston Kite Festival
EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO LATEST GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS
One of Royston’s biggest annual events is back – and this year it promises to be even better than ever!
The Charity Kite Festival and Historic Vehicle Show, organised by the Rotary Club of Royston, will be held Sunday, August 1st, on Therfield Heath.
There will be a huge variety of kites flown by organised and professional teams, as well many other attractions, including fairground rides, tombola, a bouncy castle and dozens of stalls selling a variety of goods as well as ice cream, food and drink.
Children in particular will find it a great day out. They are invited to bring kites to fly in the main arena and they will also be helped to make their own kites on site.
This year’s charity, chosen by Stephen, will be the Hertfordshire Mind Network, which delivers mental health support across the county, providing a range of services from seven Wellbeing Centres and other venues.
