Royston Cave April Highlights: Unwind Underground – A Unique Sound Bath Experience

Royston Cave has become increasingly popular as a destination for meditation and now its subterranean atmospheric environment is providing a unique setting for sound.

The vibrations of singing bowls can help calm the mind, ease physical tension and encourage the body to shift from doing into simply being.

Becky, from Chanting Stork Yoga has been weaving sound and meditation into her yoga classes for over ten years. With this wonderful collaboration we offer you an intimate underground setting, where she will guide you into stillness before layering the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls.

Floor blankets and seat cushions will be provided so you can relax in comfort.

Sound Bath Meditation, Sunday 19th April at 5pm and 6.15pm., with further dates planned throughout the year, tickets available from www.roystoncave.co.uk/events

Royston Cave was discovered by accident in 1742 by workmen erecting a bench in the market above. Its origin remains an enigma and has baffled visitors and historians alike for centuries. No records of its age or purpose exist. The walls are decorated with extensive low relief wall carvings which are mostly Christian in depiction and medieval in style. Visit Royston Cave to hear the theories and see the Cave for yourself!
