Outside of The Box Community Interest Company (profit re-invested) is creating a community to support the young people of Royston and surrounding areas who struggle to access education and/or have SEN.
Based in Royston Town Centre, Outside of the Box offers a programme of activities including health, wellbeing, vocational qualifications and life skills in an inclusive and therapeutic environment. The programme includes 1:1 activities, small groups, term-time, holidays, daytime, evenings and weekends.
With private tutor rooms and larger areas for group activities, and socialising. Parent/carers can relax or work while waiting for their children. There is also the option to host workshops/support groups for carers. The programme is due to be launched in April so look out for updates. This month starts with an Emergency First Aid at Work Course, (HSE compliant) on Wednesday 17th April 2024 delivered by an experienced trainer.
The organisers are keen to hear from companies/organisations interested in working together and are also on the lookout for organisations who can help with sponsorship/grants so costs can be kept minimal and activities accessed by all.
