Following their win at the Royston and Buntingford Schools tennis tournament earlier in June, one of the Tannery Drift teams qualified for the County Finals.
Throughout the day, the children demonstrated fantastic teamwork and support for one another; they played their very best and came away with silver medals.
Headteacher, Anna Greetham, said “I am so very proud of the children and their excellent achievement. Our school’s tennis programme, coached by Matt Fellingham, enables all children from Year 1 to 4 to develop excellent hand-eye co-ordination and promotes a love for sport.”
