Join Wise Local Crafters – A Friendly Arts & Crafts Group!
Wise Local Crafters is a welcoming group for those who enjoy arts and crafts. Meeting every Thursday, drop in anytime between 10.30am – 3.30pm. With over 30 members, the group offers a friendly and creative space for crafters of all kinds, including knitting, crochet, painting, and papercraft.
Sessions cost £3 per person, which includes a freshly brewed coffee from local supplier Hot Numbers, as well as tea. Newcomers are always welcome – participants can bring their own craft projects or simply come along for a chat and inspiration.
The group provides a relaxed and supportive environment where members can socialise, exchange ideas, and encourage one another. Several members are also involved in local projects, such as producing poppies for Meldreth Parish Council’s memorial.
Held at Eternit Sports & Social Club on Whaddon Road, SG8 5RL – the venue offers ample free parking and fully accessible facilities.
