Following on from the first two highly entertaining and informative presentations, the FOTH Royston Wildlife Group season continues on Tuesday 25th November with a talk by Alan Linsdell titled ‘Nature in the Falklands.’
Alan is a keen naturalist and excellent amateur photographer. In December 2023 he spent 2 weeks in The Falklands, moving around different locations to photograph the wildlife and get an insight to the islanders and their relationship to the UK. There will be stunning photographs including a variety of birds that we don’t see in the UK, such as Albatross and a lot of Penguins.
The presentation starts at 7.30pm in the Heritage Hall at the Town Hall in Royston for an unforgettable evening of wildlife discovery. We always have a raffle and would be grateful if you could donate a raffle prize.
For Friends of Therfield Heath members and existing Royston Wildlife Group members it’s just £4 per session, while non-members can attend for £5. No need to book, just turn up. We always have a raffle so if you have something suitable that you could provide as a prize we would be very grateful.
