Join Green Heat Coop and Royston Environmental Group for a friendly evening and discover simple and more involved ways to make your home more energy efficient.
We have three sessions: two evenings in Royston homes and one afternoon drop in at Coombes Community Centre during the Royston Repair Café.
At each session you can:
• Learn which energy improvements are suitable for common Royston house types, and get a preview of the Royston Home Energy Improvement Guide. We’ll cover loft and wall insulation, heat pumps, and solar PV and batteries.
• See a thermal imaging camera in action, helping to reveal where heat is lost in real homes. Find out how you can access thermal imaging for your own house. Please note we won’t be demonstrating the thermal camera at the session on Saturday 14th February.
• Get clear advice on how to find and stop draughts. Free materials will be available to take home, along with snacks and drinks.
