Royston Allotments welcomes you to come and look around the site on Sunday 11th August for their annual open day.
You will be able to enjoy the usual BBQ, cake n’ bake and spare produce stalls so there will be plenty of tasty treats on offer. Plot holders have produced trays this year, and ‘unusual edible’ competition entries will be on show for some great ‘Grow Your Own’ inspiration. You are also welcome to look around the site and pick up some growing tips from plot holders!
Royston Allotment and Garden Association (RAGA) runs the event and welcomes ‘garden members’ who can join for the same £5 annual membership as plot holders to access the on-site shop and Kings Seeds discount scheme.
The gates at Coombes Hole (at the junction of Green Street and Melbourn Road) will be open from 11am until 2pm on Sunday 11th August, and entry is free.
