2026 is a landmark year for the North Herts Knights Basketball Club which was initially formed back in 2001 with just one men’s side.
Fast forward to now, the Club is now at the heart of the community with two senior men’s teams competing in the Herts Basketball League and at the top of the tree is the newly formed Women’s side which competes in the National League Division Two.
The future stars of tomorrow have a clear pathway across the ages at National League level with sides in different age groups, with players at Under 12 Mixed, two Under 14 sides, Blue and Red. The same two teams at Under 16 level with the top level of Youth playing at Under 18 Men’s level.
The Roses are our newest youth team, featuring a dedicated group of young female players committed to developing their basketball skills and teamwork with the aim of creating a supportive and energetic environment for them, during Sunday training sessions 10-11.30am.
Players come from across North Herts, and matches are primarily played in Stotfold, just 13 miles from Royston.
