What Else Is Happening at Bow Books?

As the country marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Bow Books has curated a thoughtful selection of titles exploring the end of the Second World War – perfect for history enthusiasts or those who wish to pause and reflect.

While every child received a free World Book Day voucher in March, a recent national report revealed that 40% of adults haven’t read a book in the past year. In response, Bow Books is offering complimentary £4 adult reading vouchers to anyone who wants to gift a friend or family member the opportunity to rediscover reading – a small gesture that could spark a big change.

With May bank holidays and school breaks on the horizon, now’s the ideal time to stock up on a good book. Whether you’re in the mood for gripping fiction, inspiring memoirs, or family-friendly reads, Bow Books has plenty of recommendations to keep your bookshelf full and your mind engaged.

Don’t forget to pick up a copy of their free Summer Reading catalogue, arriving in-store in late May – full of seasonal suggestions and must-reads for book lovers of all ages.
