At Eden House Day Nursery we have taken elements of the modern day 'curiosity approach' to learning. Led by Alison Clark, First Friends is open to children from newborn to 4 years old and their parents or carers. It runs every Friday during term time from 9am to 11am.

At First Friends, we aim to provide a safe, friendly, welcoming, happy, and fun environment for young children and those caring for them. During sessions a range of activities is available and we aim to provide a service for young children and their families, offering friendship and support.

Opened in 1982 Fowlmere Village Hall and Recreation Ground facilities our used by numerous groups from in and around the village of Fowlmere. Our Fundraisers continue to organise events such as dances, quiz nights, exhibitions and even outdoor productions which can not only be enjoyed by the local population but also raise essential money for ongoing refurbishment.

Food-making classes for young children

Monday 10-11am, Fowlmere Village Hall, Chrishall Road, SG8 7RY - 2-5 years old

Tuesday – 10am to 11.am - Coombes Community Centre, Burns Road, Royston SG8 5PT 2-5 years old

Glazed Creations is a pottery painting studio in Royston, Herts. We provide a friendly, relaxed environment for our customers to take some time out from life. Come and enjoy painting pottery and creating homewares, gifts or treasures with your friends and children.

We also organise Pottery Painting Parties

Great Chishill Village Hall is available for private hire. It is a non smoking venue.
Facilities include: Large hall, kitchen, separate bar, committee room, foyer and a large car park.
Disabled facilities: Toilet for disabled.
Suitable for parties, dances, receptions and clubs.
