August 9, 2016 / Community News, Loving Local Living

Probably one of the best ever attended Friday evening meet ups of classic vehicles on the village green at Barrington on Friday evening. No doubt the balmy evening weather certainly assisted the gathering of almost 100 resplendent machines representing over 70 years of motoring, and attracting a record crowd of admirers.

Andrew McWilliam proudly shows off his immaculate series 111 V12 E Type Roadster Jaguar dating from 1974, which has only been in his possession for 18 months.

Famous Carry On Actor, Kenneth Williams once owned this elegant 1951 Bentley Mk 6, which now belongs to Harston car enthusiast, Roger Phillippo.

David Smith’s 1928 Lea -Francis, which he has owned for over four years, rated as one of the oldest vehicles on display.
