Community News: Curwens Solicitors Art Gallery Present: Mother–Daughter Creativity this November

Curwens Gallery in Royston is delighted to present a special November exhibition featuring printmaker Rachel Fry alongside her daughter, decorative artist Alice Sandom-Cook.

Rachel Fry, this month’s featured artist, studied Fine Art in London and taught art and design before devoting herself to her own practice. Her bold lino prints, silkscreens, and paintings draw inspiration from everyday life—flowers, fish, people, animals, and classic cars—translated into striking patterns and vibrant colours.

Adding a contemporary twist, Alice Sandom-Cook will showcase her latest jewellery collection. Designed digitally and laser cut from acrylic or hand-painted on wood, her earrings combine playful form with fine detail, each pair unique.

Exhibition Open Days at Curwens, Royston:

  • Saturday, 8th November
  • Saturday, 15th November
  • Saturday, 22nd November

A celebration of artistry across generations.

The Curwens Gallery is open to the public only on selected Saturdays.
