It’s a maximum score for Barkway Market! – One hundred and eighhttyy!

Save the date, it’s all happening on Saturday 13th May 10am – 4pm.

This year we are fully booked with over 180 stalls which will be selling unique items ranging from antiques to bric-a-brac, artisan food & drink to homewares, garden wares to plants, clothing to jewellery, curiosities and more besides.

Catering will include a bar from Barkway’s own Tally Ho pub and delicious food from local chefs including pizza, paella, pulled pork and Indian street food as well as fresh coffee and barbeques provided by the Church, Preschool & School. There will be ice cream and cakes aplenty.

Our market is a quintessential English day out with a strong community spirit and we welcome you to join in; we’re confident you’ll find something to suit your taste, your home, your style and your pocket too!

Royston Town Band will be playing and we will have an organ and a piano recital in the Church. We have the miniature steam train from Royston & District Model Engineering Society and Squirty Wirty children’s entertainer will be conjuring up some magic with two shows and circus tricks included. Also, Royston Fire Station and community police should be in attendance with their vehicles.

There is car parking available with a suggested donation of £1 to 7th Barkway Scouts who kindly marshal it for us. Entry is £4 per adult, and children 16 and under are free.
